Hi! My name is Sherry Bolen! I have been an early childhood educator most of my adult life. As an early childhood professional and a mother of 3 girls, I am vitally aware of the positive, life-long, effects of high quality child care. I earned my North Carolina Child Care Credentials in 2002 and graduated "with honors" in 2008 from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute with an Early Childhood Education Associate Degree. I received the honor of being selected by my peers as the 2006 Family Child Care Provider of the Year in Caldwell County. I am a member of the Caldwell County Family Child Care Association, the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). I have also served as President of the Caldwell Community College Early Childhood Club. Country Kids Child Care Home provides services to parents who desire quality child care and an excellent preschool education in an environment where children can thrive and be valued for their unique personalities. My child care operates on a natural daily schedule, creating a balance between a home-like and a preschool-like environment. My goal, as an early childhood education professional, is to continue to improve and enrich the quality of care that I provide to the families in my community. Country Kids Child Care Home has been recognized by the NC Division of Child Development as a 5 star child care home since 2003. My educational background and my twenty years of experience in the early childhood education field have served me well in developing and maintaining a successful family child care home.I am truly blessed with a wonderful family! My husband, Joe, and three daughters bring so much joy to my life. We enjoy outdoor activities together such as camping, hiking, bike riding, and visiting new places.
